When you fall and scrape your knee, proteins in your body are notified and they stream to that knee and they begin to stop the bleeding. The proteins aid your blood in the clotting stage. Well when you have what is called DIC (Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation) something causes the protein to over act and you have more clotting in your blood than is necessary.
You can find more information here: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000....
DIC is similar in all conditions. One critical mediator of DIC is the release of a transmembrane glycoprotein called tissue factor (TF). TF is present on the surface of many cell types (including endothelial cells, macrophages, and monocytes) and is not normally in contact with the general circulation, but is exposed to the circulation after vascular damage.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
