Just reading your question made me hungry! I love dim sum. The cuisine itself was originated by the Cantonese, but has spread throughout China.

In a nut shell, dim sum are dumplings and other steamed delicacies that are served in tea houses or other eateries. In the US, if you visit a large enough city that has a decent Chinese population, you can find dim sum houses or restaurants that will serve this food on the weekends as a brunch special.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
