What is Donald Trump's real motivation in asking for Obama's birth certificate and other records?

Sigh Well, so much for him being a serious presidential candidate. Anyways, a lot of right-wing wackos believe that Obama was not born in the US, and therefore should not have been allowed to run for president (let alone be elected as president.) This is actually a law in the constitution that presidential candidates must be over 35 AND be natural-born citizens. However as you point out, his birth certificate has been validated many many times, yet the wackos insist we revisit this issue until we agree with their conclusion - facts be d*mned.

Because if Obama keeps going at his present course, he may have to either borrow money from Donald Trump, or offer Donald Trump a job to take on the task of fixing Washington so it can MAKE money, instead of SPENDING money. Identification, such as birth certificate, is not an unusual request. If anybody will make money for Washington, it's Donald Trump.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
