Hip impingement syndrome is also called Femoroacetabular Impingement or FAI syndrome. This is a arthritis of the hip and common among males who have hips that are aspherical in shape. It has been observed that that those who have hips that have abnormal shape will get the symptoms early.
This can be seen on x-ray which is important that this will be diagnosed early so that intervention will be done before arthritis will set in. If symptoms cannot be controlled by modifying the activities of a person and he can no longer do any activities as he wish because of pain then surgical intervention will be advised. The procedure involved is altering the shape of the femoral head and repair the damage on the articular cartilage or lining of the hip joint socket or acetabulum.
This is done to decrease the pain and increase range of movement in the hip and prevent the progression of arthritis in the joint. It is also possible to treat the abnormality non invasively by using arthroscopic surgery which is also called keyhole surgery. This will depend on the extent of the damage after a surgeon's evaluation.
After surgery a patient will be advised to undergo physical rehabilitation like hydrotherapy (pool exercises) to improve range of motion on the hip joint and strengthen the muscles of the hip. He will the use temporarily crutches for 2-4 weeks depending on the extent of surgery. Then low impact exercises for 2-3 months like stationary bike or ergometer will be administered to him.
Swimming and pool exercises are activities that he is encouraged to do. After this impact exercises will be done like jogging. If a person is athletic, he can start to return to sports.
This will usually happen after 4-6 months.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
