What is Scientology, do people think it's a bunch of freaks?

Living near the Clearwater Florida area there is a large population of scientologists. You can often see them running around Clearwater. The religion was founded by L.

Ron Hubbard and is basically the belief that human beings are actually immortal spirits and you "audit" that spirit to try and discover what traumatic events your spirit has gone through in the past and then work to overcome the limiting nature of those experiences. I'm not a believer or scientologist but have met some and they are mostly normal. I don't think its a cult, it maybe gets a bad rap.

I consider it just a different religion and people can believe what they want and practice what they want. Just don't push it on me. The religion became recognized by the Government and IRS in 1993 and has over 8 Million members.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
