What is space? Is space vacuum?

I hope you're not thinking space acts like a vacuum cleaner, like this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vacuum_clea... In science "vacuum" means basically "nothing" - a region of space that is empty of matter.

It is not like a house's vacuum cleaner. That uses partial vacuum (lower air pressure) to suck up dirt. Space is total lack of air, a complete vacuum.

Nothing at all (practically). Sure, there are occaisional gas molecules, maybe a piece of dust once in a while (smaller than what a microscope could see), lots of subatomic particles from the sun and stars and galaxies, and light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation, like infrared and radio waves. But it is still a lot of empty.

That's why its a vacuum.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
