What is the attendance policy?

Internships are designed to provide pre-professional experience. You should therefore consider it to be a job, not a class. You are expected to report for your shift on time, physically and mentally prepared to work.

We recognize that occasionally you may be ill or may need to be absent for other reasons. If you are ill, you are expected to notify your supervisor if you cannot come to work. Non-illness related absences should be approved by your supervisor at least one week in advance.

If you are doing the internship for credit, you will be required to make up all missed time either by working extra hours at the Press during regular business hours or by taking work home with you. No show/no calls are unacceptable. Excessive tardiness or absence may result in early termination of the internship.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
