What is the average time a Disney cartoon movie stays in 'the vault'?

It used to be 7 years (a generation). But I notice lately they sometimes release movies sooner. Perhaps it depends on if a trend is happening that lends itself to promoting a certain title.

Oh the Walt Disney vault makes me sad at time. I have several old movies on VHS that I haven't gotten rid of due to this. What happens with the Disney vault is tha tthey stop releasing the movie to the general public for a certain amount of time.

This way it's a major promotional, blockbuster hit once it comes back out. This is usally about 10 years, so the anticipation will gather and build. Disney says that the vault is plays an important role in managing the number of titles and to keep the magic alive by revealing new titles (old titles) to kids.

Now with things such as ebay and amazon, it usually isn't that hard to find an older, previously released edition of the movie or cartoon. Sometimes when one is released, I think to myself. Oh I forgot all about that one.

I am glad they reminded me. I do have to say that of the Disney classics, Mary Poppins and Pinocchio are two of my favorites. The Mary Poppins did include some extras that it had not in the past.So I guess that was one benefit.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
