J. K Rowling was your average women. She had parents and a sister.
She was born and raised in London. She attended The University of Exeter where she studied French. Eventually she left college and got a job.
Her longest job was at Amnesty International. In 1990 her boyfriend and she decided to move to Manchester. While on a train on her way home from apartment hunting the idea for Harry Potter simply fell into her head and she began writing it right there on the train.
On Dec 30th 1990 her mother died which changed her life and slowed her writing of the first Harry Potter book. She taught in Portugal for a few years, where she was briefly married and had a daughter, before returning to London in 1993. All the while she worked on Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone.
Shortly after her and her daughter returned to London she finished the first Harry Potter book and it was published and almost immediately became a best seller. J. K Rowling was not homeless before but she was a very poor woman.
She was someone who lived paycheck to paycheck just trying to get by in life. All that changed with an idea that just came to her on a train one day.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
