Cloud computing is a fairly new term to me, so I carried out a small investigation with the help of Google. I was not surprised to find loads of information on this, here is one definition that I thought was fairly clear from masterbase. Com: "Cloud Computing: a technology used to access services offered on the Internet cloud.
Everything an informatics system has to offer is provided as a service, so users can access these services available on the “Internet cloud Without having any previous know-how (or at least not as an expert) on managing the resources involved. " At least that sounds as though there is no need to have technical knowledge to use this system!
I next looked at infoworld.Com, this is part of their article about cloud computing, but it is worth reading the whole thing, to get a better idea: "Cloud computing comes into focus only when you think about what IT always needs: a way to increase capacity or add capabilities on the fly without investing in new infrastructure, training new personnel, or licensing new software. Cloud computing encompasses any subscription-based or pay-per-use service that, in real time over the Internet, extends IT's existing capabilities. " I found the best definition on howstuffworks.Com, their terminology is a lot more straight forward and it's easier to understand, this is one small section from the most interesting article I read about it, it is well worth reading the entire work.
"There's a good chance you've already used some form of cloud computing. If you have an e-mail account with a Web-based e-mail service like Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail or Gmail, then you've had some experience with cloud computing.
Instead of running an e-mail program on your computer, you log in to a Web e-mail account remotely. The software and storage for your account doesn't exist on your computer -- it's on the service's computer cloud." That puts it in terms that even I can understand!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
