I remember my dad telling us kids that we should let troubles roll off our backs like rain off a duck. " Learning to let small things go and saving my mental energy for dealing with the big issues, while remembering to enjoy the small pleasures of life, has served me well.My mother taught me to be polite to people even when they are harsh and rude, not to take such behavior personally but to consider that the person may just be having a particularly bad day and to return their foul mood with kindness and good humor.
People who are unkind are generally unhappy with themselves, too, and sometimes all they need is to hear a kind word.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
