Any of these brands: DeWalt Porter Cable Milwaukee Ryobi Makita While Black And Decker are owned by the Delta Group, who also own Dewalt and Porter Cable, B&D is not really a "professional" brand. Rigid is the Home Depot store brand. I would stay away from them and any store brands, for professional purposes.
I would get a Li-Ion set, rather than NiCd. If the tool will be used to drive screws primarily, get an impact driver, rather than a drill. For drilling anything more than a 3/8" 18V drill can handle, I would instead get a corded 1/2" 6 amp electric drill.
Personally I like the Dewalt 18 volt drill with the LI Ion battery pack.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
