What is the best hair gel on the market - like to use to spike your bangs/hair?

In my opinion... ...you don't want a gel. Gels just weigh down your hair and make it crunchy, and there are much better products out there for spiky or messy hairstyles. I have short hair and I do love me some hair products, and I've probably tried all of them.My favorite is Got2b Defiant.

It's a pomade rather than a gel. I wait until my hair is dry before I apply it (it holds better) and then I style it with my fingers. Then I finish it off with a super-light spritz of hairspray (not enough to make it stiff and crunchy, just enough to keep everything where I want it).

The reason I like this product over, say, a gel, is that my hair stays pliant. But unlike some products, if I walk into a wind and it totally destroys my hairstyle, I can just redo it without needing to add more styling products. And it's not greasy, which many (or most) of the pomades and waxes out there are.

I've also used Vo5's gel/wax combo product, and I love that one too, but it doesn't lend itself to the spiky/messy hairstyle it sounds like you're going for. So I'd check out Got2b. They have all different kinds, so if you don't care for the defiant, you can try one of their other products, and they're cheap enough that it isn't too much of a hardship to do that.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
