There are a few things you can do to keep your hair frizz free without using mousse. First, when your hair is wet comb through it. Never use a brush on wet hair, it leads to breakage and is bad for your hair.
Combing through it when it is damp can help keep your hair strong and frizz free. You do NOT want to towel dry your hair, as the friction of the towel against your locks just adds to frizz. Try not to heat style to much, this includes blow drying and using straightening irons and curling irons.
Heat styling to much causes damage and breakage and causes frizz. Using a shine enhancing mousse can help give your hair a wet look. You can try out Paul Mitchell, Smooth ‘N Shine, John Frieda, got2b, or herbal essences.
Using Frizz-Ease can also help add shine and reduce frizz! Got2b is my favorite. You can visit their website here http://www.got2b.us/ You can view their products and see which one you would like most.
Hope this Helps!
