I am a bit of a clean freak, and this is what I've found to work best. I use a toilet cleaner called The Works for rigorous cleaning. You can buy this at most department stores; I buy mine at Wal-Mart for about a $1.
Even though, it is cheap, I've found that it works better than most others I have tried. To scrub with, I use the disposable toilet brushes by Scrubbing Bubbles. The thought of having a toilet brush that just sits there all the time grosses me out and seems very unhygienic.
For everyday cleaning, I *highly* recommend the Scrubbing Bubbles toilet cleaning gel. It comes with a gel dispenser that stamps a gel disc of cleaner on the inside of your toilet bowl. This disc cleans with each flush, and is a more attractive and better working alternative to those stick-on toilet cleaners.

We have very hard water with a lot of iron, so I have to use The Works toilet cleaner. I've tried a bunch of various other cleaners, and that's the only thing that I've seen that works on the rust. I just use the standard old toilet brush and scrub.
I will def try the Works! But my own favorite is good old cleanser, bleach and a scrub brush. A nasty job but somebody's gotta do it!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
