What is the best software to burn my digital photos & videos to a DVD that will play on any TV w/ a standard DVD player?

ProShow or ProShow Gold is made to do this. You're looking for a program called ProShow found here: photodex.com/products/proshow/ You can download the program and demo it out. It puts an annoying watermark over everything, but it lets you see what it can do.

Price is a VERY reasonable $30. For more advanced DVD slide-shows, look at ProShow Gold: photodex.com/products/proshowgold/ More complex for $70. I know many professional wedding photographers that use ProShow Gold for their clients.

Roxio MyDVD is perfect for this... I have made several DVDs for family of events using this software. It comes with several built-in templates for DVDs and lets you quickly select a background picture and music for the main DVD menu. From that, it's an intuitive drag-and-drop style setup.

Burning program Nero burning Rom is the best. Nero 6 is good but the new Nero 7 has alot more I don’t know the cost. But if you want the best this the one.It will burn abuot any application.
