Lord of the Rings The first Matrix was excellent up till the last 5 minutes or so when it went loopy and he flew off from a phome booth like Superman. After that the story and underlying message was sucked out for special effects. Star wars - special effects but when they did the Ewaks aaaaaaaaaa killed it for me.
Lord of the Rings creates an whole world, cultures, languages, etc. Everthing about it frome the Novels to the last Movie was perfection.
Lord of the Rings because it's at least consistent throughout the trilogy. The Matrix was really contained in the first movie as if no one expected there to be a second or third movie. Star Wars 4-6 was good, but just not as strong, and suffers a little the same way like the Matrix, however, ESB was such a strong sequel that, for me, gets second place as considered trilogies go.
We needed all three LOTR movies. Cheers!
Star Wars contained 6 movies in total, so cannot be considered as a trilogy. Out of Lord of The Rings and The Matrix, Lord of the Rings was definitely the better trilogy. All the 3 Lord of the Rings movies were great while with Matrix only the first was great, the second was good to watch but by the third it became barely watchable.
Well, Lord of the Rings is indeed EPIC, and it basically created the fantasy genre. Peter Jackson did a great job of turning the books into film. Despite the fact that the film consists of a lot of walking, it feels epic in scale, especially the final battle scenes.
Star Wars was great when I was 7 years old. But I can't watch them as an adult, they seem corny, and the whole mythos...meh. I actually like the Matirx as a trilogy.
There's a lot going on and good sci fi is hard. IT was innovative and although the last one failed a bit, it was trying to push itself story wise, which I appreciate. I liked Lord of the RIngs the best, but I wouldnt mind giving the matrix another go...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
