You haven't given us much to work with here, and there's no hints on your profile page where on earth you might be, so in an effort to be helpful I can tell you that I am right now 'at the beach'... Since most everyone went home yesterday, the beach was a ghost town today... I'm guessing that would get you on your way to 'rest and relaxation', not having to compete for a seclude spot to catch some rays, read a book or whatever... We are in the vicinity of Wildwood NJ, reasonably warm, and the water is nice at 75 degrees today... Come on down...

Normally, I would say take your pick of Caribbean resorts and bask in the sun on white sand beaches you will never forget. (I am partial to Virgin Gorda in BVI). But, September is peak hurricane season.

Unless you are extremely flexible and tolerant of tropical storms, you may be better off heading in another direction. (I have spent a vacation in the Caribbean in which we enjoyed only 3 minutes of partial sunshine. )Hawaii is gorgeous at any time of year.

But, September is a great month and kids are already back in school. Since you don't indicate preferred geography or budget, I pick Hawaii. Jpg.
