What is the best way to keep birds out of your yard around your garden?

One problem I see is that many ways people deter birds away from their yards and gardens, well they just aren't very attractive. Of course there is a scarecrow. However, I will warn you that after so long the birds just get used to him being there.

If you want an effective scarecrow, you are going to have to move him around a lot and possibly change his clothing. People here put aluminum pie plates on their scarecrows as well. This will make some rattling and noises.

Okay, you can just simply hang up some of those aluminum pie plates and old cds in some trees. That will help, but I think it's ugly. Some other things involve getting a motion detector sprinkler system or placing a fake owl or snake in the problem area.Be sure to move it around some to make it seem more real.

Another option is to get a cats|cat.. of course that might add to your problems.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
