I've always had good luck with DVD Shrink for copying DVD's and burning them. It copies everything and the DVD's came out perfect.

I believe the option for you is DVD Decrypter since size is not an issue. This software will rip (and decrypt) all you want from the dvd WITHOUT compressing it thus keeping the quality intact. On top of that you can select what you want which features you want to leave out for example audio of other languages or not suitable for your audio system.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
