What is the difference between 2 books: "Fundamentals of Physics", and "Fundamentals of Physics - Extended Edition"?

The second, extended edition, has 1328 pages and costs $77.08The first has 1136 pages and costs $133.59! Less pages for almost double price! Only one has table of contents available at Amazon.com.

Are they different and complementars or has the extended edition the same content of other edition, added to 208 pages, for lower price? Is it a bargain? Is it advisable to purchase both them for any reason?

As far as I know, the 1st book is cheaper & is not updated yet or just the basic fundamentals. When browsing for books, usually the older editions are limited in scope. The newer ones have more new examples and updated studies.

Comparing the prices, it doesn't matter how many pages in a book but it depends on what is written inside, I mean the content of the book. Mostly, the newer is more integrated. I'd suggest before you decide to purchase and if you're not really in a hurry, you visit a library near you so you can see what are the contents of the physical books.

If they are just the same or if you really need to have them both. If I were to choose, I would have them all because there might some explanations that are further explained in the other in which the other has not. But it's up to you.

There's nothing to lose when it comes to books. They are treasures. Sources: IT'S MY OWN OPINION..

1 I am afraid of to post this question did not a good idea. Today the price changes to $154.52. But the question about the contents remain the same.

Has the extended edition the same content of the other edition, added of some more topics? Why to purchase both, as suggested by Amazon. Com?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
