What is the difference between a assault rifles and a defense rifles?

An assault rifle is a term for military grade (meaning used as part of a military arsenal) weapon that is capable of full automatic fire (meaning it fires bullets as long as the trigger is squeezed). The AR15 is a semi-automatic (1 round is fired when the trigger is squeezed) rifle that is not capable of full-automatic fire (not an assault rifle). The exterior aesthetics, magazine capacity, flash suppressor, and lug nut are not qualifications for being an assault rifle.

IMHO, they are doing it on purpose. M16 IS designed as an assault rifle (DoD definition) The M16 M4 series. AR15 is designed as an Assault Prevention Rifle.

Semi auto only. Can't even be made full auto. M16 is military only AR15 a soldier wouldn't touch unless last resort.

M16 uses exclusively an unstable bullet that enters you leg and comes out your head. AR15 uses commercial ammo that needs 3 bullets to do the job of one military round. M16 is well built, rugged and simple AR15 is a shoddy copy with loads of toys tacked on.

Liberals want you to equate an assault preventative rifle with the one specifically used to assault.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
