What is the difference between a Standardbred and a Thoroughbred?

They're two totally different breeds. I have NO idea what the first person is talking about. He's so far off.

They're both raced, but Standardbreds are harness-raced at either a trot or a pace and Thoroughbreds are raced under saddle at a gallop. Thoroughbreds were used to create the Standardbred breed. They crossed the Narragansett Pacer, the Canadian Pacer, and the Norfolk Trotter with Thoroughbreds to create extremely fast trotting and pacing horses.

Standardbreds are a little stockier and more muscled than Thoroughbreds. Thoroughbreds: http://image2.equinenow.com/126091_1/bro… http://www.trfofne.com/TRFrace6-11-00.jp… Standardbreds: http://www.worldofhorses.co.uk/horses_us….

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
