Defined... Wide Angle: A lens of short focal length, specifically designed to provide a wider angle of view than seen by both human vision and a standard lens. This term designates lenses that have an angle of coverage between 62 and 84 degrees. In 35mm photography, this applies to lenses with focal lengths between 24 and 35mm.. Wide-Zoom: A wide angle lens with a variable focal length.. Telephoto zoom: A lens with a narrow angle of view, a longer-than-normal focal length, the ability to magnify images, and exhibiting relatively shallow depth of field.
Examples of 35 mm camera telephoto lenses include 85 mm, 400 mm and 600 mm lenses, to name a few. You can think of telephoto as the opposite of wide angle. A zoom lens means that the focal length is variable over its full range..
Lots a wide angle lens is a fixed length lens that is as wide or wider field of view than your eye is. A wide zoom is the same, but its a zoom so for example Canon makes a 10-22 and its a very wide zoom. My fav is the 17-40mm and the one Im saving for right now.
A telephoto zoom is one that is a zoom to take things far away and make them closer. Like the canon 100-400mm which is rated one of the best for wildlife and good for sports too. My 70-200 is a tele-zoom also but not as far.
But since I have a digital camera, the 30D, it has a digital crop factor so the 200 is really more like a 320mm so it is great for sports n even wildlife still too. Hope this helps you out and makes sense. If you got lens questions see if you can talk to akphoto here, he knows a LOT about them, and is really helpful.

Well Well traditionally a wide angle lens is a fixed focal length lens that is greater than 35mm. So thus a 14mm is a wide angle lens (very wide) and a 28mm is a wide angle lens. A wide angle zoom is just that one that is a zoom lens in the wide angle range.
Some of the most popular are the 16-35 and my fav, the 17-40 F4 by canon. They also make a efs wide angle designed for crop sensor cameras, a 10-22 and its also nice if you really need it that wide. 99% of people don't and only think they do.
Often when I am shooting my 17-40mm I am not wide open unless I am doing a coast shot or a close up. As you will often have too much sky or foreground in your shot, unless you crop it to go panoramic and then you will need a very good grade camera to do that kind of croping and also be shooting it at a very low ISO... A telephoto lens is liek a 200mm or 300mm lens. And a telephoto zoom would be a lens that zooms in that range, like the 75-300 or the very nice Canon 100-400mm L IS lens.
And keep in mind most bodies have a crop factor so that will extend the range of your lens, so the Canon 100-400 on a 40D or Rebel is liek shooting a 160-640mm lens on a film or for frame body. Also when it comes to lenses, you get what you pay for. If the range is to long, like a 6x or 10x range, the image quality is going to be lower and yoru images softer.
Perfect example is the crappy sigma 50-500mm lens. The images are very very soft at 500mm and you cant crop in on them or enlarge them too much! Here's the difference: Wide-angle lenses give a wider field of view. This has the effect of accentuating the distance between objects, and in extreme cases, warping the subject. A fish-eye lens is an extreme wide-angle lens.
A telephoto lens is the opposite. It has a narrower field of view, and the effect is a flattening of the image. The classic example that I like is from the movie "The Graduate".
Remember the scene where Dustin Hoffman is running towards the camera for 10-15 seconds but it doesn't seem like he's actually getting any closer? This is because the camera had a telephoto lens. A wide-zoom lens is just a wide-angle lens with zooming capabilities.
Hope that helps! Sources: my opinion .
Vive la difference! Say you're at a football game and you're on the fifty yard line, about in the middle of the stadium seats. A telephoto lens allows you to zoom in on JUST a player on the field.
A wide zoom will let you see the two teams together in a huddle. The wide angle lens will show the whole field and part of the grandstands on all sides. A fish-eye lens will show the whole stadium and those around your seating area, but distorted.
Hope this helps. Can you tell I'm a football fan? Can't wait till September!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
