What is the difference between best friend and true friend?

Best may mean "at the moment" and true may mean you have a long history.

No you will ahve to give it some time. Right now it is about to change or let me say it has the great potential to change. One just has to wait and see.

Or so is my opinion. What do you think? Why?

This is a tough one.. Looking back, I have very few "friends".. But a collection of literally thousands that have made money offa me. They claim to be my "friends"--when it suits them..That gang, I'd much rather they fear me..That also goes for some women, who at one time, or another claimed to be my "friend"....When they turn on ya, they do it in a great big way..I have a very simple philosophy---1. I love to be loved..2.

Can't have loved, I'll settle for liked.3. Can't have either, I'll settle for respected.4. If I can't have respect, I oughta knock your lights out right now, cause you'll be nothing but trouble to me..

Best friends will lie to protect you. True friends dont. They are truthful .

I have had a freind for 48 years. She has been with me through thick & thin and I the same with her. She is a true friend.12 yrs.

Ago I met a nice woman we became friends and were very close. We went shopping together, movies, etc... She was my best freind at the time but she disappeared from my life and my true friend is still here. That might explain the difference..

They shouild be the same...if a friend abandons you...they are not really a friend.

Well your best friend will always be a true friend but a true friend may not be your best.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
