What is the difference between Faction and Fraction?

A faction is a group of people within a larger group.

A fraction is a mathematical term comparing one value to a larger value or a SMALL part to a larger part but that terminology requires a concluding phrase in English. E.g. "a fraction of the cost" or "a fraction of what you would pay elsewhere".

One could argue that a faction is a fraction but a fraction is never a faction. Kind of an enigma in grammar I guess.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
