One large difference between Jaguar and other well known luxury manufacturers like Mercedes Benz, BMW and Audi is that Jaguar is British. British car companies are known for doing luxury a different way than the Germans. Bentley and Rolls Royce, two of the world's best luxury brands, are also British.
They tend to have lots of wood trim on the doors, dashboard and center console. They also often have a rather traditional formal feel to them that isn't present with most German cars. The Germans usually don't have as much wood, and they go for a swoopy, more modern interior design.
Jaguar has been modernizing their offerings lately to more effectively compete with the large German brands, so some of the traditional style may now be gone. However, you'll still pay at least a hundred thousand dollars less for a Jaguar over an entry level Bentley.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
