What is the difference between old comedy and new comedy?

The old comedy in Greek comedy was personal or political satire eg Aristophanes. In the 3 rd-4th centuries B. C with the rise of Macedona and decline of Greek power the old comedy was replaced by new comedy with plots and characters.

The love intrigues& scheming servants were central to the new comedy. Menander,Philemon,Diphilus are writers of this genre.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
