What is the difference between reciprocity and bribery?

Reciprocity - When somebody greets you with a 'hello' or a good morning' and you greet him back saying 'hello' or 'good morning' - this mannerism or greeting back is reciprocity. Reciprocity is a positive gesture. It shows that you care and you are social and friendly, you have the sensitivity to understand feelings and reciprocate it back.

Man is a social animal and we have to be reciprocating as this reflects our mutual understanding that we need others and at the same time are needed by them. Bribery - It is one of the most common form of corruption in today's world. Bribery is a legal offense almost in every country.It is an illegal source of income for those who possess any kind of legal power, and a shortcut method for those who want their work done.

It is a negative gesture. Difference Between Reciprocity and Bribery - It is like the two ends of a river which are parallel but never meet. One is good and other is bad.

One is social mannerism, other is a legal offense. One makes us friendly, the other a criminal.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
