What is the difference between simple diffusion and facilitated diffusion?

Simple diffusion is when particles cross the plasma membranes of cells by themselves without help from proteins or any other cellular structure. Facillitated diffusion is when praticles are transported across the plasma membrane by either active or passive transport through cellular structure.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
