What is the difference between valmiki ramayanam and kamba ramayanam?whyThanthai Periyar Hate Ram and ramaya?

Though they both tell about the same epic,valmiki's in Sanskrit while kamban's in tamil. Also valmiki's had written the epic same as the real story and didn't modified any part of the story but kamban added some of his imagination.
