What is the first toy supposed to be introduced to a growing baby?

First toys should be colorful, easy to hold and safe to chew on. Babies' eyes need the colors to develop sight and keep them interested. They also need something that is easy to hold since they are developing their grasp and learning to coordinate with hands and eyes.

The toy should also be safe to chew on since once they develop coordination, everything goes in their mouth. Teething rings and rattles are usually the first 'toys' babies can play with. I wouldn't recommend stuffed animals right away since they might have small choking hazards (eyes, buttons, noses...).

If they do have stuffed animals, monitor the playing time. There are some stuffed toys, however, that are free from the choking hazards (Carter's My First Doll, for example) or just have colorful fabric and tags.

Make sure it is not made out of cheap plastic that has PVC. PVC is toxic and unfortunately many teethers for babies are made out of that. Look for safer alternatives.

When they are able to grip items I believe that first toy is some type of rattle. Also plush stuffed animals seem to be something they love to grip and throw to the ground. LOL.

Actually they seem to throw everything to the ground. LOL. Even their bottles.LOL.

They like to see us pick them up and give it back to them. LOL. That is their fun, and learning.LOL.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
