What is the Freshman Learning Community (FLC)?

The College of Engineering FLC offers freshmen a unique opportunity for success. Students in the community are assigned to a residence hall with other College of Engineering freshmen. FLC participants endure the same demanding classes as other students in the college, but are able to easily form study groups, ask questions about a course, and make friends in the College of Engineering because many of their floormates are in their classes.

In addition, FLC participants are grouped together in sections of Engineering 1201 and Engineering Technology 1201. Students who participate in the College of Engineering FLC are retained at higher rates and often obtain higher G.P.A.s than students outside the community. Admitted students can apply for the Freshman Learning community by visiting www.coe.uncc.edu/students/flc/.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
