What is the LPGA?

The LPGA stands for Ladies Pro Golfers Association. There is a separate PGA for men and women probably to keep playing levels competitive. Professional men generally hit the ball farther than women so to play from the same tees would put women at a disadvantage.

Case in point, in 2003 the best LPGA player in the world, Annika Sorenstam played in a PGA Tour event. She did a respectable job but still missed the weekend cut buy 3 strokes. She played from the men's tees.

Had she played from the women's tees, she would have been much more competitive and might have even made a run for one of the top spots on the leaderboard. I think women and men could play together on the same tour, should they allow for different tee spots for the men and women. Criteria and scoring are the same for both tours. In some instances, tournaments are 3 rounds in the LPGA, although most are 4 rounds, as is the case on the PGA Tour.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
