Either: a) the shock is on a too painful setting/your not using it right b) it's not the right tool for your dog/situation I would only ever recommend a shock collar if there was NO other way, and the dog was in danger, for example if you had a stubborn dog that liked to run out in the road and chase cars. Even then, I'd say to keep it on the lowest setting possible, while still getting him to stop. Your dog has become afraid of you, and I would suggest you try more positive training methods to regain his trust.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
