There are probably many, but one that sticks in my mine goes like this. We moved house which then involves all the normal things as registering Tel, Elec,Yourself and all those other small jobs a new. But you have to also find a new Doctor.
I registered with the new Dr. and was told that I had an appointment in three days time. My Wife kept on laughing at me and cracking little jokes and waving her middle finger in the air. I don't know was I stupid, dumb, or just plain nieve, but it never clicked what she was telling me.
Doctor's day came and you do all the normal things. Shower, clean underware, and so on. My wife was really enjoying herself.
I was called in to see my new Doctor and after a bit of form filling was asked to undress. Was allowed to leave my underpants on to save my embarrassment. The Dr. did all the normal checking of lungs, heart, kidney and so on.
Checked my skin, ears, eyes and then asked me to turn around and bend over. As I had a quick look behind me I got the shock a my live, he was pulling rubber gloves on and greasing one finger. I'm bent over as red as a beetroot and the Dr. checking my insides.
That was the first time I'd had an internal examination, and that's when the penny dropped and explained why my wife was having so much fun. Very embarrassing indeed.
HHHmmmmmm embarrassed- I got pantsed in 9 th grade gymn class diring co-ed vollyball- TAT WAS BAD BUT- I THINK IT WAS MORE EMBARRASSING WHEN I GOT FIRED FROM MY LAST TWO JOBS- EACH TIME I WENT AROUND AND SAID MY GOODBYES TO MY CO-WORKERS-they were shocked I was leaving as such- the first time- I packed up my stuff and left- the second job- I packed up stayed for our group lunch- made some great jokes about leaving and making the next weeks staffing meeting- I said i'd bring a cake for my birthday i'll do it this year because they were moving offices last year on my b- day- I was embarrassed getting fired but I didn't want to leave like an assas suchh my last job stuck to their policy of non-comment on my departure- I had my pal call pretending to be an HR guy....
My life is one long string of embarrassing moments. I find that the ostrich technique works good for me. I´ve designed and made my own portable sandbox, so I can go places!
I do not remember any moments that embarressed me, but I don't think anyone is perfect. We all make mistakes because we are human. What is important is to learn from them, and to try to do better.
God Bless You.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
