A honeymoon in Barbados is often seen as the perfect choice for couples wishing to spend their honeymoon in the Caribbean. Our position as an island in the Caribbean is most often associated with the image of turquoise waters, lapping at endless white sandy beaches. This is so much the case, but Barbados has even more to offer for a romantic holiday.
There is, of course, the tropical sun, reliably shining most days of the year. Along with this the island enjoys lush vegetation, perfect for a cool romantic stroll after a day on the beach. For the ultimate in romance, nothing really beats being hand in hand with the person you love, watching the sunsets over this beautiful island setting. As well as the beautiful natural attractions available on this island, there are many other activities and luxuries available to enjoy.
For those couples who enjoy taking to the water, there are many beach activities available, from enjoying a romantic Barbados honeymoon cruise on a yacht or catamaran, to jet skiing and wind surfing, for the real adrenaline seekers. Honeymooners may however prefer to relax on the beach, sipping cocktails listening to the gentle hum of waves swishing onto the beach, only interrupted by the unique sound of the Bajan steel pans. Other options available during a honeymoon in Barbados include swimming with the sea turtles or hiring a car to explore the island together.
This would give any honeymooning couple the opportunity to visit the many sights dispersed throughout the island, such as the old sugar mills and plantation house or perhaps to enjoy the abundant plant life growing throughout the island. There is even a hillside garden containing over 20,000 Orchids, one of the most romantic varieties of flowers on the island. As an alternative mode of transport, there is also always the opportunity to ride on horseback together along the beach....perfect post wedding romantic fun!
To be totally honest, I do not know much about the places you asked about, but I do have another to add to your list. The Grand Hotel, is on Mackinaw Island, in Michigan. The island is in Lake Huron between the two peninsulas of the state.
The only transportation on the island is horses, bicycles, or walking, motor vehicles are not allowed. Mackinaw is full of history dating back to the 19th century. There are plenty of sites to see, and romance abounds.
Oh and do not forget the fudge, Mackinaw fudge is the best, at least in any Michiganders mind. Michigan weather for the most part is mild during the months of July and August; however, it can get hot with high humidity at times, but like us from Michigan say if you do not like the weather, wait five minutes it will change. I have provided links to sites about the hotel and the island.
Venice is my favorite. Nothing beats an Italian honeymoon! Ride the gondolas through the historic canals, and view the beautiful palazzos and the Piazza San Marco.
Venice is a water lover’s paradise where the historic buildings reflect off the waters while gondoliers sing. Source: romantic-vacations-destinations.com/ital....
IF you like exotic and favor the idea of having an adventure together, pick Venice or Thailand. Thailand is a little trickier to navigate. I would say Venice to me seems more romantic, the architecture is lovely, Thailand more exotic.
The food is spicier, if that effects your choice, and less chance of finding someone who speaks English, if that matters. There would be less sightseeing in Miami, Virginia or San Diego, those are just American cities. Virginia to me is lovely for privacy and quiet the Marsha Washington Inn is pretty and hassle free.
Miami and San Diego are large, hot and muggy American cities and don't strike me as romantic at all. There are probably honeymoon packages to Barbados which would include a pretty room by the ocean and fancy food, but if you are from Trinidad - it might seem too much like home, and Maruitius I can't comment on because I've never been there. So in summary, I would vote for Virginia if you want privacy, beauty, in a B&B and Venice if you want exotic adventure and sight seeing.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
