Those who knew him say he never turned off. He was entertaining ALL THE TIME with no rest. He was a great talent on all levels and also had depression.
Think how it would be to never be able to "turn off." He probably did drugs and alcohol to see if that would help him turn off but it didn't work. It would be like having busy brain (can't sleep) all the time.
I think he did it because he couldn't find any other way to turn off. Since deep depression is a disease just as cancer is I don't think God condemned him.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
