I am a long term geek. I have known and worked with hundreds of them. I have never heard of such term.
If I were to answer the question, as a geek, I would call users that refuse to read the instructions on the screen "Users" or perhaps even "Geeks" Almost every geek I know prints documents longer than about twenty lines to paper before reading them. It is much more comfortable, convienent, and easier on the eyes to read the printed copy.
Geez, thought for sure I'd heard this one before but tried to look it up and couldn't find it! When you have a moment maybe sniff around on webopedia.com, or the people at Byte Size Media say they'll "act as official translators between Geek and what the rest of us speak" if you contact them at bytesize.com/contact.html. Not sure if they'll charge or get back to you quick...Good luck!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
