Overseas Brats is a big organization that holds events for alumni of all DOD schools. We are focused solely on FAHS alumni. Another difference is that we tend to be quite a bit more informal, irreverent, and off-center.
They have schedules. We're just happy if everyone makes it home in the morning (or at least by lunch). They wear nametags at their parties.
We wear tattoos. As my friend David likes to say, "At Frankfurt parties you are expected to remember who you are, and in the event that you forget who you are, pray that you look good in cork." But hey, there’s room in the world and on the Internet for both organizations and styles.
We wish OB the best, and will continue to post announcements for their events on our reunions page. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
