I know I'm not the intended author, but from what I understand, schizophrenia is basically a form of dymentia in which the patient suffers from a dillusional state of mind, unconnected to reality. MPD on the other hand is where the patient literally has multiple personalities they switch between, but each individual personality still has at least a basic grasp of reality.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
