What is the scariest movie you have ever seen?

Oh, my gosh! It has to be The Grudge! It’s not your usual blood and gore scary movie.

Something about that movie made my skin crawl. I think it goes way beyond normal fear. I wouldn’t recommend watching it if you have a heart problem.

It’s also not a movie you would want to let your young child see. The Grudge isn't for the immature type. It’s a very serious film and has a very intense and dark tone.

I woke up in the middle of the night imagining things for weeks after I saw it. LOL My friend and I watched it together and to this day I can make that weird noise they make and she will scream at me to stop it.

The Ring series. American, to be specific - not that the Japanese ones weren't good (or possibly better), but they weren't as scary. Americans really know how to make things jump out at you.

And back in its day, it was completely revolutionary - ghosts haunted houses, not technology! I avoided our TV for weeks, and it was because of the American remake that I can't watch horror movies without covering the screen with my hand most of the time. That quick shot of the dead girl in the closet at the beginning was way too much for me to handle at that age.

I think I probably ODed on adrenaline.

When I was a kid, I was really terrified with the movie Exorcist with Linda Blair. Special effects were really not developed during those years and when they released it again with a few improvements, it was still scary. Linda Blair did a very good job and it set the standard of good quality horror films.

Another film which deserves credit is the Sixth Sense. It is not that scary but M Knight (the author) made simple scenes into a thriller that the audience in a movie house would shout in anticipation. The Ring (American and Japanese version) was one of the movies one would not forget most especially when Sadako began climbing the well and going out into the viewer's television. It was very unique and absolutely scary.

Food, Inc. You want to talk about real horror? Check it out and see just how much we're at the mercy of large agribusiness.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
