What is the status of China's HT-7 fusion reactor?

The HT-7 (or Hefei-Tokamak-7) Fusion Reactor was built by the Chinese Plasma Physics Institute in 1994; it made China the fourth country in the world operating such a device. Tokamak is an acronym for "toroidalnaya kameras magnitnami katushkami" or Toroidal Chamber with Magnetic Coils. China's new generation experimental Tokamak fusion device HT-7U, the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST), conducted its first discharge test in mid 2006; it became the first experimental nuclear fusion device in the world to become URL2 January 2007 the HT-7U achieved reproducibly 4 times more plasma discharges.

EAST is an upgrade of China's first superconducting Tokamak device. Is the first full superconducting experimental Tokamak fusion device ever put into operation. Successful operation of HT-7U will enable the proposal of a superconducting hybrid test reactor to serve as a bridge between fusion and fission energy sources by 2010.

Superconducting Tokamak.

China sees the fusion reactor test a success. That was their first test. Testing will be continue.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
