Storms rumbled into the Kansas City area this evening after causing widespread, but most minor damage in outstate Kansas. But four people were killed in Oklahoma this afternoon during an outbreak of violent weather that dropped tornadoes across parts of the Southern Plains. The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management said three people were killed at Tecumseh and that another person died at Oklahoma City.
Tecumseh is about 45 miles southeast of Oklahoma City. The agency did not have any additional details. The storms caused traffic accidents that closed two major cross-country interstates.
Damage was reported throughout much of northern, central and eastern Oklahoma. The Storm Prediction Center at Norman had predicted the outbreak, saying the atmosphere had the right mix of winds, heat and moisture. In Kansas, the most serious damage was in Belmont in Kingman County.
Fred Simon, director of the county’s emergency management, said several homes were damaged and power outages were ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
