Of course there's some rubbishy old B movies with cardboard sets and rubber monsters, but for a stylishly well-made movie, I would say The Matrix. What is it all about?
An old Japanese movie from the early 60's I think called Godzilla.
There have been many B movies from the 1950s, too many to remember their names, many have attained cult status. The film I would say is the worse, comes from the 1967 and is set on a Scottish Island that is experiencing a heatwave caused by giant mobile brains, called something like, Night of the Big Heat.
A toss up between The Green Slime, alien goo that mutates into one-eyed monsters when electrocuted, and Solarous. George Clooney in space haunted by his dead wife, Boring.
Battlefield Earth is hands down the worst sci-fi film ever made...
Matrix Reloaded was awful - the first Matrix film was fantastic and they should have stopped there. Part 2 was very pretentous, and ultimately made no sense. The third film was rubbish but at least better than part two.
Any scifi directed by Uwe Boll = certified crap.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
