What is this very sharp, isolated lower abdominal pain on left side after days of hacking cough/flu? Its the only place?

Its the only place. It all started Sunday night here in nyc. The worst flu of my life.

Started with hacking cough out of nowhere.. No runny nose yet, no sore throat just a run down feeling like (!@$*) the cough and a temp that at times ran up to 104. Today is wednesday and I am feeling a lot better but but the cough is still with me (though a lot better) and I almost double over to hold my lower abdomed when I feel a cough coming on.Is it just stressed muscles reacting to over usage? I hope someing didn't rip!
