What is wrong with some women? Your input is greatly appreciated?

Your input is greatly appreciated! Ok, so here's the short version. There's a man who is with a woman for a few years, and shortly thereafter, marries her.

He provides her with everything that she could possibly want and need. He works a full time job, and on top of that maintains the up keep on their home, cooks, cleans, and basically all other responsibilities that a couple should share while she sits home. He knows there are issues with their relationship, but he is a loyal man that took his vows seriously.

He tries everything to make things work between the 2 of them. One day she decides that things are getting too financially tough, and doesn't want to work which leads to her not wanting to be married. Instead of being responsible and going through the divorce process, she ups and leaves.

Her family refuses to disclose her location so he can get a divorce. Eventually, he locates her to serve her with the divorce. Her excuse was he was too "controlling", and now goes by 2 different last names so no one can find her!

Who knows what is wrong wth her. Maybe, she is unstable. Who knows what goes on within closed door.

He sounds too perfect. Maybe, he was too controlling and she had to run away. The good news is if she doesn't show up in court, he will get that divorce and probably all the property and he can start over again.

There is surely more to this story, seems to me. Sometimes working and cooking and cleaning are not the things that the woman wants in a relationship - that is fine - she is free to choose. Her actions are strange, no doubt - is she afraid of him?

Is she mentally ill? Then we cant really be in a position to blame her so much - is she depressed, delusional, etc.? We just don't know. Rush to judgment is iffy in a case like this - we can never know someone until we have walked a mile in their moccasins?

I'm wondering off the top what you let her do. You cooked and cleaned on top of working a full-time job and maintained the house as well while she sits home! Why did you do that?

Don't want to prejudge but it sounds like you controlled everything. What were her responsibilities in the marriage? Now, I think instead of running away was irresponsible; she should have sat down with you and discussed what was making her unhappy to try and work it out.It was getting financially too tough?

Why didn't she get a full-time job as well? Without knowing more details, her flight was immature, certainly not letting you know where she was and using a couple of aliases. I'm not sure this is salvageable so I hope you can divorce and get on with your life.

But it does sound like you have control issues. Your life would be easier if you would share responsibilities in a relationship. I get the feeling she felt like a child in this marriage.

You sound like a nice man, but I would recommend short-term counselling to look at these issues so your next relationship can work more smoothly.

Sounds like she is the controlling one. Why wouldn't she want the divorce if she isn't controlling him? Her family may not care or want to be involved or maybe she is hiding from the family.It sounds like she wasn't really contributing to the relationship and he was doing all the work, and that doesn't make her look very healthy from the beginning.

1 He needs to talk to a lawyer. I believe that in many jurisdictions he can divorce without her, and her making herself unavailable only hurts here, settlement wise. Be side that, he can also probably go to another jurisdiction altogether (think Vegas) and do a solo divorce.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
