It's a toss-up between "Heartbreak Hotel" and "All Shook Up" Both of those songs go back to the days when Elvis was a rocker and not a crooner like he became later in his career - and what is really sad is that the so-called "oldies" radio stations don't even play the early Elvis songs any more - back when he was really good. If I had to pick one, it would probably be "All Shook Up" since that one rocks out in the spirit of the times and early rock and roll. What's really sad is that a lot of people today don't even know that Elvis started out as an anti-establishment rockabilly singer and not a crooner whose most up-tempo song was "Suspicious Minds."

And he did so many good - make that great - songs during the late 1950's, that its truly sad he deteriorated into just a mere shadow of what he had been, in later years. However, if you see the 1968 "Comeback Special" he showed he was still capable of rocking and even the last couple of really rock songs he did "Moody Blue" and "U.S. Male" showed he was still a rocker at heart. But, how many of today's people have even heard those songs since they seldom, if ever, get played on the radio?

Elvis was The King - make no mistake about that - the King of Rock and Roll. It's just too bad he became a mere shadow and parody of his former self in his later years. A Little Less Conversation Ever since I heard it in the theme of the show Las Vegas (great show you should watch). It's fun and kinda rocks.

He is the King. Okay, if I must then I would say Moody Blues. I’m really a big fan, but I think the one song I like least is Mama.

I just bought a CD of Elvis’ Inspirational, and I tell you, it’s great.
