Do something he enjoys I did a Harry Potter theme a few yrs back for one of my foster boys and he loved it. Made all kinds of stuff liek you see in the movies for treats and stuff. Also have done costume parties.

A fun one is a limit to stuff around home, and or a $10 limit on costumes. It can be a lot of fun also. Pirates party with "rum" punch, and tropical treats.... Its always a fun theme, esp in the midwest where its still cold outside.

A sleepover movie party is fun too. Its a challenge when you have an extra 4-8 boys sleeping over and watching movies until midnite or later, but its a great experience for them too. (beware some boys might not want to sleep over because of bedwetting, so if some say no, talk to the parents and promise to treat the issue with respect, and give him or them a chance to change into protection (goodnites or pampers which you might have to help with if diapers) in private so they won't be embarassed, as its still pretty common for boys at that age still.

If you have a large yard, or several adults, break into groups and do a scavenger hunt... Hope this helps! Enjoy and hope he has a great Bday!
