Indeed, ....I totally agree. The Little Drummer Boy was one of the best...........but you are right............it got less and less airtime over the years............and all we'd get is the political correct Frosty the Snowman. Another good one , was called "The Littlest Angel"........but that got less air time than Drummer Boy.
And do you remember the Christmas movie "Poor Devil"? With Jack Klugman, and Sammy Davis Jr.? it was a Christmas CLASSIC in our house.......and had a slew of guest stars and cameo appearances............and then one year...............bam........Christmas couldn't be about the Devil and Hell anymore. It was an excellent movie.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
